“Phase II of Turkey in Horizon 2020” Technical Assistance Project is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and is carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey under the Competitive Sectors Programme. TÜBİTAK is the final recipient of aid and offers a wide range of support for small and medium enterprises in Turkey. Support includes partnership and networking events, a wide range of training courses and assistance in developing offers and offerings under Horizon Europe.
The European Commission (EC) launched the 'Horizon Europe' program in early 2021 and the 'EIC Accelerator' for innovative SMEs remains a key feature of SME support, along with other forms of assistance for research and development.
An important document for potential users of the accelerator is the European Innovation Council's 'Annual Work Program 2022', which officially went into effect earlier this month (see https://eic.ec.europa.eu/eic-work-programme-2022_en ). This document details the various forms of financial support available, the schedule of calls for proposals, and what applicants must do to apply.
As a continuation of the publication of this Work Program, the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Project” invites you to participate in a week full of two outstanding events: 'EIC Accelerator Work Program for 2022 – What's up' webinar for Turkish SMEs? ?' . While this webinar will focus on the newly published Work Program, we will continue with a Project Writing Tutorial that will consist of improvements on three main topics used in the application process: 'IDED', 'GO2MARKET' and 'DEVELOPMENT' and other supporting materials.
The webinar will use the 'Zoom' conference software. It will start at 10:00 on March 7 and will last approximately 2 hours. Project Writing Training will also start online at 14:00 on 10 March and end at 17:00.
All applications to EC must be made in English, so the Webinar and Project Writing Training will therefore primarily be conducted in English.
